Located near Beziers, in the South West of France, this project comprises 117 Greenhouses with solar photovoltaic roof-tops on two co-located sites. Polysilicon solar panels (Talesun) are used to generate electricity along with string inverters (Huawei) to convert from DC to AC. Fifteen Transformers convert the voltage from the 117 greenhouses to allow export of the electricity to the medium-voltage grid network. The greenhouses are used by farmers to grow fruit and vegetables in a controlled environment, and in some cases to house poultry.
